My Co-workers & I read gossip mags such as “US”, “Star”, “Enquirer” & “People” on a weekly basis. The WM who are married to BW are rarely (if ever) photographed with their significant other. For example: I have read at least five magazines which ran stories on Justin Chamber’s sleep disorder. However, the way the pieces were written, one would never know that he has a wife. I guess it’s one of those inconvenient truths. This phenomenon is half tempting me to write these people. On the other hand, it is not in the major publications interests to feature these couples…Because that would interfere with a certain standard of beauty. Below are just some of the MANY couples who are almost never shown with their partner.

CW!! Oh my Jesus! Please be a fence Lord… I have been subjected to all types of ignorance before but the pastor’s video is one of the top 3 ignorant things I’ve ever seen. The fact that he left 2 sets of children, then says ‘pastors aren’t speaking out about that… I lost my family’ shows that he’s still not taking responsibility for what HE did.. no one should have to tell a grown ass man that leaving your wife and children is wrong! That’s not a pastor’s responsibility or Obama’s!
And for him to say Michelle Obama is ugly, when she looks like HIM, and most of us, that’s all kinds of ways deranged. Talking about how big she is.. I wonder what the women in his congregation look like? Surely like me and you, and Michelle – and only a handful probably look like Lena Horne, Halle Berry or Coretta Scott King. I couldn’t even watch all of it, It made my skin crawl. And the fact that his ‘flock’ can stomach him on a regular basis, while tithing their income so he can continue his ‘international’ tirade.. CW I am just about shocked out of my skin. Very little shocks me to my core like this.
You just don’t know how happy, relieved, proud I am that we are beautiful black women with free minds to think and choose our destinies for ourselves.. and saddened at the same time that many sistas are still in bondage to this type of thinking..

These video’s are lovely, however Pastor Manning works for Satan, he is taking the Lord’s words in vain. I was absolutely shocked, so he is saying that because Michelle is not like Lena Horne, Halle Berry and Coretta King, she is ugly. Clearly he is completely possessed. Only fair skin women are beautiful, I wonder if he realises that Halle Berry is mixed race and not black. Michelle Obama is one of the most educated, brilliant, beautiful first ladies ever to grace the White House.
