    I saw this video on Facebook when she posted it there. At least the rascals are on trial for this. I just wonder if this will be treated as a hate crime that it obviously is.

    Wow. They were such a beautiful couple. This is just tragic and definately a hate crime. The perps just couldn’t stand for the two of them to be together and happy; that would go against their idea of what a bw was supposed to be doing. I’m sure they wanted to steal from them also, but I’m sure that seeing their superior, a wm go home to a bw everyday bothered them to no end and was a strong motivator for the crime. This is a reminder to be to place a high priority on safety as I branch out an make a life for myself. Thanks for following up on this.

    Of course…The details of this crime tells any thinking, rational individual that this matter was PERSONAL…Like I told Jess, put fear on the shelf…However, lemme add to that and say put safety on the forefront as well!

    It makes me feel so sad every time I see that smile on Quiana’s face. She just looks like such a sweet girl who would probably be just irrepressably happy and youthful everyday, and who wouldn’t be attracted to that?

    And to see how those creatures just insisted on snuffing that out… If it wasn’t for Jan, Quiana’s husband being seen right by her side, they wouldn’t even know that a girl like Quiana even existed. They would have paid attention to another girl entirely.

    Quiana’s happiness was a BIG CATALYST for these monsters incensed anger and viciousness of their crime…Let’s be real, these DBR’s were not willing or capable to care for any woman like Jan did…They simply did not like seeing a BW experiencing happiness outside of the normal constructs

    Please tell me that the death penalty is an option in this case? Animals don’t even treat each other that way. Why isn’t there more media attention regarding this case?!

    Muse of Troy, I think at least a couple will start singing like canaries. So that may mean a plea deal with death taken off the table. But as of now, they are all being charged of murder with special circumstances (not hate crime) so the death penalty is being sought for ALL Four of the DBRS. I hope it stays that way, but they will all be 40 years old before they see a needle. They may have 20 years of appeals.

    Media isn’t covering it as much because Quiana was a sister. If she had blonde hair and blue eyes, the case would be on Nancy Grace every night until the trials were over. Public outrage can change this!

    May they rest in peace and rise in the glory of Christ, they were a beautiful couple, and seeing the pictures is a mixture of happiness and such terrible sadness that they were so in love, so very happy. Like two precious flowers, their lives were cut so short.
